Hanes 10 Pair of Soft Padded Women's Athletic Socks - White Ankle Length 5-9 9 shoe sizes (I wear shoes from 8.5 to 9.5), but I still have these and they are fine. These are comfortable, mostly cotton socks (78 percent cotton judging by the packaging of the socks I received). Good softness throughout the toe, toe and heel sole. I would say the ankle straps (and the 2 inch height of the socks) are interesting because they are the least tight socks I have ever gotten. You're still fine. I think it could be useful for women with big ankles, puffiness or those who shouldn't have circulatory problems from sock bands that are too tight. And they work well for those with thinner ankles like me too. This is a pack of 10. too skinny, maybe too relaxed. Good socks too.
