Review on 📺 Waveshare 2.9" E-Ink Display Module with SPI Interface | Hi-Resolution 296x128 E-Paper | Raspberry Pi Compatible by Tiger Carpani

I recently bought one of these for a project and the hardware is great. However, two things are worth mentioning: 1. The documentation on the manufacturer's website has many typos and in most places doesn't really work for the 3 color version of the display (probably a copy and paste error of the 2 color release) . I catalog all the right installs and tutorials on Github in a repository called: avirtuos/waveshare, so don't worry about searching for documentation and tutorials.2. The refresh rate is very slow! 30 seconds for a full refresh on a 7.5” tri-color display. Remember. Revain's description didn't help to bring this out. I was expecting a typical refresh of 2-3 seconds, no. I haven't found a good example of a partial update yet (if at all possible).
