My little boy wears 4 or 4T. I was a little confused about which size to take, so I bought a size 6. It's fairly roomy without being uncomfortable, and the sleeves are a little ruffled so they're not too long for his arms at the moment. Now I like the fit and next year it will be even better. He loves the feel and the yellow goes amazingly well with some of his swim trunks. They have survived multiple washes. All in all a great purchase.
