This hook is a great solution for carrying extra bags or a backpack on a Nine Max or any other scooter with a small oval/rounded handlebar (Xiaomi, Swagger 5 etc.). The shape of the mount (rounded) doesn't exactly match the Ninebot Max, but it's close enough to be sure. Just don't overtighten the mounting bracket or you could dent the stem. I tested this by riding a 5-6 pound sack 5 miles at an average speed. 15 km/h no problem. However, anything that is too heavy will unbalance the scooter. So be careful not to overload it or drive it slowly. It installs quickly and easily (7 minutes) and comes with a tool to get the job done. For the price and the added benefit it adds to my scooter I would definitely recommend this product. Edit: After a few weeks with this bag hook, I found a pretty serious problem. The bolt that attaches the backplate to the stem mount will loosen over time. This is likely due to the vibration and weight of what you're hanging from the hooks combined with a slight design flaw. While driving, my daughter fell when the hook came loose and her backpack lost balance on the hook during a sharp 13 mph turn. Luckily only a slight rash and no broken bones. 🙏 Fortunately, there is a solution to this problem. The head of the screw that attaches the backplate to the stem mount is too small to go deep and will loosen over time. Adding a small lock washer behind the bolt head solves the problem by keeping the bolt under tension. A regular flat washer and a drop of Loctite will also work, but I think a lock washer will work better. We'll check in a few weeks when she's better.
