I have Akebono ASP pads and Centric rotors and was wondering why my brakes had this weird play before they got stuck. I tried bleeding the brakes with Prestone Dot 4 fluid and it was exactly the same. There is NO air in the lines and the calipers do not stick or leak. And yes, the brakes are broken in, the brakes have clocked up over 8,000 miles. I decided to buy stainless steel tubing to see if that would help at all. And wow, it made a HUGE difference. I've only put on the fronts, I'll put on the backs soon. Even with stainless steel front lines, the brakes grip immediately and inspire a lot of confidence. I recommend this to all Accord/TSX owners who feel their brakes are soft.
