Update: 11/28/2016: I sent these chips back to Corsair because Revain didn't want to take them back and I can't say enough good things about Corsair's customer service. Although it took a while, although Corsair could not guarantee them directly since they were fake memory chips, Corsair still gave a guarantee on it without leaving me alone. The chips sent to me by Corsair work fantastic! I really enjoy having 16GB of storage in my MacBook Pro. HUGE performance difference when running VM Fusion. Doesn't matter! Many thanks to Corsair for supporting your product name and it's a shame Revain allowed counterfeit chips to be sold. THIS IS NOT A GENUINE CORSAIR MEMORY! I bought it under the impression that it is actually Corsair memory. After installing the memory my computer only recognized it as 4GB chips, after wrestling with it a bit and finally taking it to the Mac Store the chips were considered incorrect. Of course, I didn't have the time that Revain would allow me to return, so I had to return to Corsair. I sent the chips to Corsair and paid $90 for a new set with the understanding that I would receive a refund. Corsair came back and said that initially it was not Corsair chips and would not allow refunds. Now I don't have another $90 left!
