It holds my phone really well, the hook design is nice and stays on the vent but that's pretty much all that is good about this product. First, the phone holder rattles so much when my phone is not on it that the rattling noise is unbearable and very annoying when driving. Second, the clamping function is poorly designed and engineered. I live in Ohio where it's not that cold in the winter. But the clips get stuck and very difficult to release/retract when the outside angle is below 40 degrees. It's like the pieces inside are frozen and you have to push the two clips apart while pressing the release button on the back of the phone holder. I really thought I'd get used to all of this but no, I'm buying something else that will be better.
