Review on KYB 341276 Excel G Gas Strut by Timothy Bobbert

I am 99% sure I received Legacy struts and not Legacy Outback struts. Almost everything is the same, but the distance from the lower mounting bolt to the lower spring seat is shorter on the Legacy than on my 2004 Leg Outback by about the same distance. I even tried to blame the old tired factory springs, the new ones didn't change anything. On the other hand, after 2 years and about 35,000 miles, they're still working, so I'm going to fix that by installing some saggy spacers back-to-back, even though everything is new and *not* worn out. I will buy again if I get a Legacy that needs racks, but I will buy something else if one of my Legacy Outbacks needs racks.
