Works great with pens. Unfortunately not much with handles.

It's the perfect size for my wallet, is very sturdy and has a wonderfully helpful cheat sheet on the back. I bought it mainly to quickly draw smooth alkyl chains. Unfortunately, the aliphatic alkyl chain was cut with a thinner hole than the three pi bonds of benzene and methyl on methylcyclopentane, so I can only use this stencil with a mechanical pencil, which I almost never use.

Pros

WILL NOT BREAK OR CRACK like a plastic template. This 0.5mm thick, laser cut and laser engraved enamelled stainless steel card fits into any standard credit card or ID card slot and is designed to last a lifetime and withstand abuse. Perfect unique gift for a chemist, chemistry student, or chemistry teacher!
