Update September 7: The seller responded with an offer to adjust the screws that control the distance between the magnets. Unfortunately, this didn't improve the intensity. Random back and forth movements of the engine part will cause a momentary increase in vibration intensity. Original: I got a new motor to swap out. Delivery met my expectations. I removed the original motor and soldered the replacement in. Turned the device on and noticed that the vibration is minimal. I put the brush head on and it barely moves. The battery is fully charged. I placed the stylus on the charger and followed the reset process as per Sonicare's instructions. The reset did not change the vibration intensity. I sent an inquiry to the seller about the possibility of a motor wedding. I haven't seen any reviews of failed installs. I will wait for a reply and update the review accordingly.
