I bought these pads to improve grip on the Xbox S controller joystick. They work better than the silicone options and the rubber is better quality, but the downside is how they attach to the joystick. The part that comes in contact with the joystick is harder than the pad itself, 3 prongs are used for attachment. These pins put a little bit of pressure on the joystick (and won't work if the original thumb rubber is worn out) and as you can see in the close-up, these pins grind down into a fine dust, which predicts even less grip than you keep using them. .In the picture I also compare the original white color with the one used. dirt does not come out. All of this in just 3 weeks of use so I don't see how this product can be anywhere near effective for the average player.
