This remote control is AWESOME! It comes pre-programmed with Roku codes, which is what I wanted it for. It's enough to be useful, but not so much that I have to create my own user guide to use it. We actually had to get a replacement as our first one failed in the first month. A couple of buttons stopped working this week (ours is 10 months) but instead of calling it a bug I came up with a simple fix. I carefully pry the remote apart with a small screwdriver and slide it between the two halves at the very back of the battery compartment. There are 3 major parts inside: a rubber sheet with buttons, a circuit board, and a clear plastic button guide in between. I took a regular eraser and lightly rubbed both the PCB pad and the black dot on the back of the rubber button causing the button connection to not work. I blew everything off and put it back together. Presto! The buttons work again. Too bad I didn't put an eraser on all the keys. This could solve the problem that many of us have experienced that you have to press the keys firmly. Maybe this is my little weekend project. This product would be 5 stars barring the failure and needing to clean the contacts after 10 months. That being said, we love this simple yet extremely flexible remote control.
