Review on ๐Ÿ”ช RSVP International Endurance Vegetable & Fruit Peeling Slicing Kitchen Collection Peeler by Yesenia Quirante

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Same: disappointing

After reading the previous reviews I was hoping that one of the last bad reviews was an accident. Wrong: Mine was roughly hewn, roughly sharpened, and very dull, no better than the $1.29 disposable tool I bought on a recent trip (two weeks from home and I was feeling carrot starved). Mine doesn't say 'Made in Sweden' or anywhere else so I'm wondering if like some other products it has switched to Chinese sources and the quality has gone. Lucca is credited for replacing the first item quickly, courteously, and without question (it arrived crumpled - not individually wrapped, just wrapped in a piece of tissue paper and shipped in a bubble envelope so USPS could have damaged it). However, the replacement doesn't cut any better. The Rada cuts much better, so although I'm feeling a little weak, I use this one: a Rada cutlery peeler, made in the USA, with an aluminum handle (and it was cheaper).

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Hard to say
