We ordered this for use in our 17 foot Riverside RV retro camper. The caravan has a large noisy heater that wakes us up every time it is turned on and uses both electricity and propane. Having dropped below freezing for the past two nights we wanted an electric heater to reduce the sharpness. This little heater arrived today and was immediately plugged in and set to full blast. Five minutes later it definitely took the chill out of the air. 15 minutes later and here is a comfortable temperature. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but this little thing definitely pumps out heat! Looks good and fully serves its purpose. There's fan noise, but it's a low and steady white noise that doesn't irritate or irritate (unlike the loud, clunky noise of our installed heater turning on and off). love this thing! Tip: Since it doesn't have a timer, you can use it with a mechanical timer output. Given the low price of this little thing, it's cheaper than buying a heater with a built-in timer. Here's what we're planning to do so it warms up in place in the evening and turns off in the morning.
