I just received it yesterday. It allocates four disks, one for each card type that can be used. I wrote to a 128MB Type II CF card (which we use with a Janome sewing machine). This was on a Windows 10 64-bit laptop and worked very well the first time I used it. I don't know if we'll have the dreaded pin bending problem (associated with this type of reader/writer) in the future or not. I intend to carefully insert the card into the device. [It came with an instruction manual. This is not required. But since it was posted, I read it. The writing is so small that I had a hard time reading it even with a magnifying glass. I would like these manuals to be printed on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. I understand that the packaging for the device is small. You can fold normal size instructions.] I'm glad I have this device.
