Review on πŸ–₯️ CURMIO Desktop Computer Travel Bag, Carrying Case for PC Chassis, Keyboard, Cable, and Mouse - Black by Tara Laven

Good for road trips but bring a hard case for air travel

Yes, an aluminum or tough plastic case big enough to hold even a mini-tower like this bag costs at least $200, but how much would it cost to replace your entire computer? This tote is lightly padded and does a decent job of protecting against accidental bumps, but the notoriously rough handling of luggage will keep you happy if you just have badly dented corners and panels and possibly a cracked side glass if you're one of those people. Make sure you measure your case before ordering as only the smaller mini tower will fit, but the measurements given are accurate. Handles and shoulder strap make it easy to carry for long periods without you having to be a weightlifter. The side pocket is large enough for a full-size keyboard, power divider, and any cables you might need, with a mesh pocket at the end for overflowing if your cable needs are inappropriate or you just want to access a flash drive, etc. unpack and fish around unnecessarily. You can put a small drinking bottle instead, but it's not very deep, so that's iffy. Most graphics tablets should be light enough to slide in from the top next to the tower, but one that doubles as a screen might be too thick to fit on anything other than an ITX case, and some will be questionable - again, measure first if this is your intended use. I recommend this bag based on these recommendations. The listing doesn't mention that it folds into an approximately 12 x 12 x 6 inch bag - that's how it comes, secures with a small luggage strap and can be folded. That's why the sturdy interior of the bottom lining is two-piece: the zippers and fabric feel solid, and the seams are well-stitched.

Pros
  • We look forward to it
Cons
  • The list will be long.
