I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

For the sake of interest, I compared it with my staff member 18-105, the difference is very noticeable. At 50mm, with the same parameters (shutter speed, aperture, ISO), the picture is cleaner. even a little lighter, the elaboration of details is noticeably higher (especially at the edges of the frame). Bokeh is much prettier. In general, I advise for creativity experiments.

Pros

An excellent lens, 1.5 years ago it was brought from the USA (at that time it cost 6200 in). Sharp, bright, fast autofocus. In combination with the d5000, it gives a very decent picture.
