What an awesome idea!
With 3 dogs, I pretty much need to lint roll myself any time I leave the house. I keep a lint roller in my car so if I forget, I can de-fur myself on the go. However the car lint roller picks up every piece of dirt, fur, etc and frankly it gets pretty gross. This is such an awesome idea and works perfectly to keep my lint roller covered and ready to use. It does add a bit of bulk - I keep a lint roller in my kitchen junk drawer and with this on, it no longer fit in the drawer.
