Excellent product. This was my first steering wheel repair that I damaged because my hands were still wet from using hand sanitizer. He removed the top layer of nappa leather from my Mercedes steering wheel. However, the result of the repair is amazing. I sanded the damaged area with 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 and finally 2500 grit sandpaper to make it super smooth. Then applied about 6 coats of paint. The black color matched perfectly. Dry quickly between coats with a blow dryer on low heat. After 24 hours, apply the leather protector as indicated. Please see the before and after photos. I am very satisfied with the result. Very simple and inexpensive repair. I highly recommend this product.
