Although I put this cabinet together in a few days (busy schedule) it took me about 4 hours total. I'm a 64 year old woman with arthritis but I made it on my own. First you need to disassemble all the parts and carefully study the instructions. Everything was drilled correctly and there were plenty of extra screws, a screwdriver, wrench and Allen key. Two very important things: the back is drilled, but the cabinet back frame is not pre-drilled. This isn't a problem as I have a good little drill bit and lightly drilled the holes and attached the back piece. Don't be afraid of it. Number two: As with some of the other reviews, the hanging file drawer only popped out 2 inches. I forcibly pulled it back and disassembled but did not remove the rails. I assembled it making sure all the boards were square (which obviously wasn't there when I first built it. And the drawer works great. So my advice is take your time putting this together and you will have a nice little filing cabinet.
