I purchased the 10watt unit. First the suction cups do not stick to clean glass windshield for very long ( <10mins ) in the direct sun. Also the main box on the back side sticks out so far that the suction cups near the main box can not even be stuck to the windshield.Now as far as charging. The vehicle this unit was purchased for was going to be sitting at a airport for 2 months. So I purchased a new battery made sure it was fully charged before installing this solar battery trickle charge system to test it a few weeks before hand. I the two weeks the car sat in my driveway the solar charger never did show that battery was full charged ( the green light ) so much as to the advertised claim "will even charge a dead battery” it would even show a full charge on a brand new battery.
