Wanted an AA unit with removable batteries. This applies to both boxes. However, I need a pin that can be pulled out, but this one doesn't. Maybe I'm blind, or the description has been updated but I didn't see this feature in the description. So I'm deducting 1 star. As I like to leave my main door open to allow air to flow through the screen door, I use this as a door alarm on my screen doors where a standard magnetic door alarm will not fit. I use 2" wide heavy duty Velcro (10lb hold) to attach the alarm to the *top* of the mesh door and the key fob ring is attached to the door frame with a built in cup hook (at fairly close spacing). If anyone has the Door opens I'll know!.And anyone not supposed to be there is lost!These alarms are ripped off (by removing the velcro to avoid causing damage), alerting the culprit to the source.The one pulled out However, the stylus was *never* identified as the cause of the noise as it hangs so harmlessly at the very top of the door frame.So I'll keep looking.That's good and will be a temporary answer;I just wish they had retractable styluses.
