Very well made, durable, thick and beautiful.

We purchased this patio mat for our Chinook Concourse RV and are very pleased with the quality and durability of the mat. This is by far the highest quality floor mat we have purchased and we have several home and RV patio mats. This rug is thicker than many other rug options currently available. At 9 feet x 18 feet, this is the largest rug we've found for under $71. The colors are strong and the photos correspond to the delivery. The short (9ft) sides are beautifully finished with a matching blue canvas binding that is stitched at the corners and a few inches over the long sides to ensure the fabric doesn't unravel. The longer sides (18ft) have a hem that also keeps the mat from tangling. The mat is folded in a fan shape, which makes it convenient to store when loading the motorhome. The storage bag is made of black ripstop nylon with a drawstring/clip closure. A web handle is also sewn to the storage bag. The nylon bag is thin but covers the entire mat and has enough room to close the bag. We store the bag/mat in our RV when not in use to extend the life of the mat and bag. We love that the mat and storage bag can be removed after each hike. UPDATE: After using this pad at many campsites. Traveling we decided that 9' X 18' was too big for windy conditions - we mostly camp at beach campgrounds. The carpet more than once turned into a huge sail, even if its corners were reliably weighted. Our solution was to cut the rug in half so we now have 2 9' x 9' rugs. No more hassle with huge sails and one person can easily fold and unfold the smaller size. We now have 2 rugs that add versatility to our patio. Open cut edges MUST be closed, otherwise the carpet will unravel. We bought a Sailrite canvas binder to handle the raw edges. First we glued the exposed cut edges with hot glue. Hot glue was also the best way to attach the tarp to the carpet, which holds up really well. The fix is a lot of work, but for us it was the best solution.
