Review on CloudLine Hiking Socks - Merino Wool, Seamless Toe, Warm, Moisture Wicking, & Breathable Blister Prevention - Large Granite by Ryan Whatley

My days of cheap crappy socks are over!

So, first you should know that I have mostly always viewed socks as a place where I could go cheap. I had some dollar amount in my mind as "this is how much socks should be" and I just refused to cross it. But last year a person selling me hiking boots explained the logic of buying a slightly too large boot and filling the space with cushiness, so I bought a pair of Darn Tough socks with a little padding. And those were nice, you know, but they were a bit shorter than I might have liked, and not super soft, and not super squishy. So, I must have caught myself at the right moment to let this pricier sock purchase happen. But you know what? I am a changed persin, and this Cloudline sock is what did it.These babies are SO soft, perfectly squishy, not knee high but a perfect height so I never have to worry about it slipping below the top of my ankle-covering boot. Heck, these socks were so comfy the second I put them on that I just wanted to walk around in them. I will probably get more just to serve as winter slippers around the house. Seriously, you don't know what cozy, happy feet feel like til you wear these. I'm a convert :)
