Review on Premium RGB LED CPU Cooler with Aluminum Heatsink, Copper Core Base & 4-Pin PWM Fan - Ideal for AMD Socket AM4 Desktop PCs by Isaac Simpson

Well cools R5 3600, but.

. Very noisy when the fans are at max. You can adjust the fan speed in most BIOS menus (e.g. on my ASUS B450-F gaming board). But to get the best performance out of the box, you need to make sure the CPU temperature stays low when overclocking to 4.1GHz for CPU-intensive tasks. The fan itself looks great when it's on. The RGB LEDs are bright, colors are vibrant, and AMD RGB software lets you customize color combinations between the outer ring, fan blades, and even the AMD logo to any color you want. The fan spins down and is very quiet at low speeds. But as I mentioned earlier, once you start playing games and editing videos, the fan will sound like a card that was powered on and left in the parking lot. (that's the best way I can describe it). You can get around this by wearing noise-cancelling headphones. My r5 3600 originally came with its own scroll fan and cooled it well at stock speeds, but I also found it to be quite noisy. Well, this Prism fan lowers the temperature to around 9-10 degrees, which is very comfortable. So if you are used to 75 degrees Celsius under load, expect more or less 68 degrees Celsius under load. At idle it seems to be between 39 degrees. Overall this is a good fan and looks good. But if you want really quiet operation, the best thing to do is to use an AIO water cooling system with a single heat sink and a Noctua fan or something similar.
