Very long, different from plastic machines in many ways

The pins are much closer together. You can also use a crochet hook instead of your fingers. It's also very long. More than a meter, which means you need a workspace. It is sturdy, well made and attractive. Can't say I liked the hook that came with it. The angle of the hook is not as sharp as the plastic hooks. In general I like it.
