I sent this one back. The outward angled pins will cause you to stretch the yarn too much and you will have to strain your wrist to secure the loop. I was just expecting a longer version of the standard white grooved pins that AKB boards usually have and ended up going for a shorter board with extensions.

The pins are much closer together. You can also use a crochet hook instead of your fingers. It's also very long. More than a meter, which means you need a workspace. It is sturdy, well made and attractive. Can't say I liked the hook that came with it. The angle of the hook is not as sharp as the plastic hooks. In general I like it.
