Very handy for sockets
Works great but only for vertical installation (bulb pointing down). Due to the angle at which the cable exits the device, when installed horizontally it is difficult to pull on the cable and you could end up breaking the cable or damaging something. Do not connect high power electronics unless you intend to start a fire. I connected my motorcycle battery charger to it. I sometimes charge my phone with it too.
