This gauge wheel works better than others I've used with smaller wheels. It seems very accurate. And it's easy to roll on any terrain and not worry about the wheel getting stuck or not turning. What I can call cons is that the wheel moves so freely that if you lift it for some reason the wheel will keep spinning and hence the measurement. Seems silly, but it's like he needs a "brake". You can click on the counter with your foot to reset it, but it's easier to do it with your hand. However, if you bring the wheel towards you instead of bending over, you have to be careful that the wheel doesn't spin when you put it down. The counter is easy to read, but it would be even better if the numbers were bigger. And the stand works well but really needs to be on a flat surface or it will fall over anyway. All in all, this is a good buy.
