It has been almost 10 years since we repaired parquet floors. In life, with kids, and with everything else, they looked a little worn out. I bought this cleaner and polish hoping for the best, but I didn't expect it to work miracles. I started by washing the floors with warm water. After drying I used Weiman Floor Cleaner which turned out to be very easy. Literally just sprinkled on the floor and cleaned small areas at a time. Then I let it dry as instructed. I then used a new microfiber pad and applied Weiman polish. This was also very easy to do. I literally just extruded a line about 1 to 2 feet long and then polished a section about 4 feet by 4 feet, walking around the room until I was done. Nothing unusual, just spray on, wipe off with a mop and let dry. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The floors have a nice sheen and look like they were redone the same day. The paint covered the small scratches well. While it's not a miracle in a bottle, I still see scratches, but I didn't expect it to fix them. The floors shine like new and look fantastic. We had fun twice last weekend, lots of people and kids running around, liquid spilling and food falling. The floors still look great. Not sure how long it will last but if I had to reapply every 3-6 months I would be very happy with this longevity. So far I can highly recommend this cleaner and polish for its ease of use. and excellent results. UPDATE: - OCTOBER: A month later the floors still look great, I am VERY IMPRESSED with this polish. Can't wait to use this on the rest of the floors. - JANUARY: 3 months later the floor still looks great. I was hoping for at least 3 months of shine and turns out it can last at least that long in a busy dining room with kids. We've partied a few times over the last few months, lots of kids spilled etc and the shine is still there. I plan to finish the rest of my house when I have time to clean out the rooms (this is the hardest part of polishing). STRONGLY RECOMMEND MORE!
