Like many others who have left reviews, I also had an older Roomba that eventually stopped working and was looking for a cheaper alternative. After reading the reviews it sounded like our vacuum cleaner. Well, this vacuum cleaner sucks — and not for the reasons a vacuum cleaner should suck. It can't go from hardwood to our very flat floor mats. It often goes over small items on the floor that are easy to pick up. We kept finding it hanging from one or the other in our bedroom when testing it. We put it back on the charger, charged it until a solid blue light came on, and switched it on again - only to find it stuck somewhere else - meanwhile the entire center of the bottom remained unswept every time we used it picked up and returned. to his charger. The collection bin is tiny and needs to be emptied before the battery thinks it's being recharged. Even the weight of this product told us we were buying something cheap. There is also a lot of advertising behind the product for an American company, but the instructions are clearly written by someone for whom English is a second language. Plastic brushes and parts are cheap and made in China. Our biggest disappointment is that we have a dog that often drops food out of the bowl. That was our goal in sourcing this product - picking up the lost parts. The grains are small and our previous Roomba picked them up easily. But for this Pure Clean vacuum robot, the parts are too big and it just goes over them. I don't know what the other reviewers were thinking when they rated this product, but it doesn't live up to those reviews.
