I LOVE IT! c Meters and Scales

I had to control my sodium intake for about 10 years. The only way to do this is to keep an eye on the nutritional value of everything I eat. I use My Fitness Pal, an app that has a huge nutritional database of at least 90% of the foods I come across (it works on Windows, IOS and Android) and has the option to enter new information. It also allows me to log information about everything I eat (I need to rate things I don't cook myself, like restaurants or friends' houses). I use it to plan my daily menu to meet my nutritional goals. For this I need an accurate scale as weight is much more accurate than volume when measuring food. I've had the scale for ten years and it eventually broke from constant use. I did a little research and settled on the Etekcity EK6212 based on the design, features and customer reviews. I am very comfortable. The low profile makes it easy to add food to plates or bowls. The large surface means there are no unreliably balancing containers on a small base, and I see a display with a large plate on top. The ability to convert the weight of water and milk (and liquids of similar densities) to milliliters allows me to quickly and accurately add liquids without having to measure volume. And what's important to me, the 11lb capacity allows me to measure directly into a large ceramic bowl without the need for separate containers. Because I consider proper nutrition to be the first line of defense in maintaining my health, I find my Etekcity scale an indispensable tool. to maintain health. Thank you Etexiti!
