I like the size. He's really small. I always and only use filtered water. I fill it up, turn it on with a second press where you get about 10-15 seconds of intermittent spray. First, I pressed the power button once to keep the spray running all the time. But in the morning it was always turned off (auto-off) sometime during the night. I think it can't work more than 5 hours if it's on all the time. Another time I decided to hit the power button twice and see how long it would run at night with intermittent spray. It does not turn off and continues to work in the morning. I still feel like I'm getting enough moisture. Haven't had to clean yet. I pour out yesterday's filtered water and add fresh filtered water. No tinder, tinder, smells and other things. If there is a downside, I would say that you should keep it next to the bed while you sleep. I'm just not sure how effective it will be next. If you have a stuffy nose or throat at night, be sure to try this remedy. You may also consider closing the vent while sleeping if your nose is particularly stuffy or gets dry at night.
