Must be completely filled to dose like in the video. The threads for both the filler cap and dispenser cap were so poorly formed that no matter how the caps were installed they were crooked when finally tightened and I suspect this caused them to fail to seal, leak air and as a result the glue is not dispensed properly. The red caps are nothing more than a dust cap. Even when mounted onto a dispensing tip, they do not prevent the adhesive in the tip from curing, requiring it to be cut off for reuse or discarded after each project. At over $1 a tip, this becomes an expensive proposition.
