Review on 🐠 20-Inch Fluorescent Deluxe Hood for All Glass Aquarium AAG21220 by John Miranda

I have a 10 gallon aquarium. Its size is 20 x 10 inches. The gas cap I bought it with 8 years ago was rusted and basically falling apart - the feed cap broke, one of the light cases rusted etc. I was looking for something sensible and cheap. This hood meets my needs. Why do I just love this hood and am so glad I have it? 1.) I have an autistic child and as you know children as young as 4 or 5 can't keep their hands off anything, especially if they are autistic. My 4 year old son puts his hands in everything especially when he sees water. Well, with my old broken aquarium lid, he would always put his hands in the feeding hole in the lid, splashing water and disturbing the fish. Then we bathed him. He just didn't want to listen. This hood puts an end to that once and for all. The hood fits perfectly over my aquarium with no gaps at the edges. The whole one side of the hood is completely covered. After I put the hood back on, he was so upset he couldn't get his hand in the tank. :) 2.) This lens hood comes with a transparent protective cover that covers the lamp and protects the lamp from moisture and its housing unlike my old lens hood. 3.) The lamp itself is nice and bright. 4.) If you ever need to replace the light on the hood you can simply remove the tape on the sides and remove the light housing by itself. 5.) In any case, the hood is light. 6.) Finally, the price of the hood. All the other hoods I found at Revain were a bit pricey. What do I not like about this hood? The lightweight body is held in place with tape, which isn't secure. Also, this hood is perfect for my 10 gallon tank. I recommend this hood and the seller to everyone.
