Review on ๐ŸŠ Gator Hardshell Bicycle: Unmatched Sturdiness and Durability from Continental by William Auditore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good price <$50

When the Bontrager tires were wearing out on my track, I decided to save a few bucks and bought a cheap set of tires (can't remember the brand). I didn't realize the importance of quality tires until I bought a set of Continental Gator Hardshell Duraskin tires. 700 x 32 was just right for commuting. While I don't track mileage, I do maintain a repair record in a spreadsheet and the front Gator lasted 3 years and 9 months before showing any signs of tire rot. The rear tire lasted about two and a half years and has only blown once in 3.75 years of exceptional performance. Tips: **If you install them yourself, make sure you have some strong 8-10 inch zip ties handy. This allows you to attach the tire to the rim while wrapping the tire around the rim. Workmanship and raw materials Three years of riding have confirmed that I made the right choice.
