Not as strong as I thought

These headphones offer excellent sound quality at an affordable price. The bass reproduction is very good. I was looking for warm headphones but they might be too warm for me. I would have liked a little more height, but that's my only gripe. They also have very good soundproofing if you use the foam tips. It's great to hear high-quality sound with no extraneous noise. They allow you to fully immerse yourself in the music. However, like earbuds, these earbuds need to be squeezed before being inserted into your ear, which requires two hands and is annoying when you're plugging and unplugging your headphones all day. I find them uncomfortable to wear. A few inches of wire from where they connect to the headphones are meant to have "memory" so you can shape them around your ear. I've found myself lacking in memory and constantly struggling to get the wires around my ear. They tend to lose their shape and swim and fall out of my ear. Just hanging cables directly is not an option as they are too heavy and pull the headphones out of my ears. The design would be greatly improved with a harder rubber or plastic piece that fits behind the ears. My first impression was that they are very durable. The wires are thick and feel much more durable than regular headphone cables. The plastic of the buds also appears to be very durable and well constructed. It seems to me that you can step on them and you will not break them. I assumed they would serve me for many years. Six months after purchase, the sound began to wheeze and stopped when moving. The insulation around the portion of the cable just before the plug has completely torn, causing an audio issue and rendering the headphones unusable unless I plan on not moving while listening. Since the cords are detachable from the headphones, I could buy replacement cords, but I didn't consider them because they were so cumbersome to use that I'm not interested in using them anyway. For me, headphones should be mobile, ready for use on the go and durable. I thought they would fill the bill but they let me down. They are also cumbersome and inconvenient, especially when they have to be taken out and put back in frequently. Because of these factors, despite the great sound quality, I will never buy a pair again.
