Review on 🧹 Dyson Ball Animal 2 Total Clean Upright Vacuum Cleaner, Blue: The Ultimate Solution for a Spotless Home by Karen Smith

LOVE this vacuum! This is my first Dyson vacuum (Animal 2 in dark blue) and I love it. We have an option with all the extra tools and I'm really not sure I'll ever use half of it, but it's nice. I've tried so many vacuums that I just hated and ended up investing in this one when it came out. It's relatively lightweight, easy to set up, but it took me a minute to move around the wand (uncap the top handle and pull up). Also, there's no button to tilt, so you step onto the back of the floor base. I'd like a light on it, but not a deal breaker. Same goes for the retractable cord (it doesn't have one and I hate hand-wind cords, but that's me). Not self-propelled, but I don't even realize it and don't miss it. I have hardwoods, tile, and carpet (no carpet). Some of my small rugs get vacuumed so be careful. It just goes to show that this thing has great suction power I think. We have 2 large dogs (coarse haired with little shedding and medium shedding) and 3 cats (1 long haired and 2 short haired). He definitely gets her fur and anything the dogs track down (plus cat toys under the furniture if I'm not careful). I used a plantation blind attachment and it worked great for simple dust. The corner bracket for the top of doors etc is a bit odd and may take some getting used to (but it worked)! The wand is long enough to handle my high ceilings/corners/crown ledge on its own (I'm 5ft 7in but I'm sure it will still reach others shorter than me). The fabric nozzle worked well for quick cleaning of the sunbeds between washes (do not use the fabric vacuum itself without the nozzle as it is too powerful). The trash can is also easy to empty. It's only been a month, but I'm still hooked.
