Time will tell how it will hold up but looks and feels solid. It comes with 2 x 6mm screws that match the diameter of the two holes on the back of my 2016 Tacoma truck. I couldn't match the pre-drilled holes in the base plate perfectly, so I had to take the base plate and widen it a bit with a drill. Then it was easier to install it on my bed. I will use it as an anchor point to enclose the kayak in my bed. I may buy more or look for other options for additional kayak latch points that are more flush with the bed as they protrude and get in the way when carrying mud and rocks in the bed. The figure with several locked places slows down the thief and convinces amateur thieves to walk past me and not bother me. Please with the product and recommend.
