Review on Allied Tools SwitchGrip 30582: Reliable Dual Action Plier Combo Pack for Versatile Use by Yung Kitamura

They are good for their versatility. I had one a year ago and I have good memories. I got them based on my past experience. I will say they are solid but not very well typed. The mechanism must be precise so that the jaws close completely no matter how you use the instrument. It seems that one way or another, one side gets full power and the other side gets limited because the jaws on the opposite side are closing. The good thing is that you're holding the object most of the time, so it doesn't really matter unless you're trying to cut something. They stay in my toolbox and will be used frequently.
