If you're buying this for your bedroom to start your day with caffeine, this thing is LOUD! I always liked when we stayed in hotels that they had cars like this for convenience. If you're using loose leaf tea, also fill the filter just enough to barely cover the bottom. A little more and your teeth will look like tootsie buns. I found this out through trial and error.
