I really like the idea of the console and the length is excellent. We attached them to the balcony railing with cable ties. Straight out of the box, easy to assemble. I like that they can be plugged in so you don't have to change batteries. The remote control has many functions, most of which I will not use. I'm really only interested in the on/off and dimming feature, which brings me to the next point. There should be 10 brightness settings, from 10 (dim) to 100 (bright). In reality only 60-100% works. When you get to 100 it's full brightness which isn't as bright as I'd like it to be but in the end it serves my needs. The up/down button on the remote control only works if the function itself works or is not available on this model. More importantly, if you set it to 100 and dial 90, it dims a bit. And the same for 80, 70, 60. But it's as dark as it gets. If you select 50, 40, 30, 20 10 they will not darken. So while 100 isn't bright enough for me, 60 isn't dark enough for me either, depending on what I need it for. All in all a good set for the price, but some features are not working. So three stars for now.
