I have been using Xacto blades for about 35 years. I bought these "Craft Hobby Knives" because I wanted to make sure they were as good as the originals. I found them 75% acceptable. The barrel of the knife is strong and yet light. It's not as comfortable to hold as the heavier Xacto. It's not perfect, but it's ok. The special feature is that the swivel knife holder does not remain tensioned. It comes off easily and quickly. This makes it difficult to trust the knife to stay in place and stay straight. Caution! I like the colors and the price but I would end up buying the original brand for the safety and durability.
