I have purchased several of these LED spotlights over the past three years and have used them as 12 volt spotlights to light up my garden at night using a 12 volt battery. Very bright and with good light diffusion. However, as reported by some other reviews, they have a constant problem with moisture getting into the case and shorting out some or all of the LEDs. This happens over a long period of time, around six months, and you can start to see condensation in the lenses of clear light. Lens. I disassembled one of my broken headlights. It looks like the clear lens is glued into the aluminum case, and the wire that goes into the bottom of the case also has some sort of sealant that seals that area as well. However, I suspect that the heat generated by the light is destroying the clear lens seal and allowing moisture to enter the case here. Again, this is a very small amount of moisture at a time, not like a rainwater leak. However, this is likely the source of a long-term moisture problem. I just bought a few more and will be putting a strip of clear silicone at the junction of the clear lens and aluminum case to seal the joint. Just an idea for other buyers.
