Great post on seat posts

I bought this to replace my faulty Fox Transfer (update: this post was repaired by Fox under warranty). I went from 150mm to 170mm on transfer and can still slam it in my L YT Jeffsy size. This post feels light or easy and the action is much more consistent and powerful. I reused the transmission lever and it works perfectly. The seat wobbles a bit, but that happens with every seatpost we have (including the Fox Transfer). My only issue with this is that there were no instructions and a switch to the Tranz-X network. the site is not very helpful. They have instructions for some of their older posts, but not this one specifically. The most important thing you need to know to make this post work is that it comes without full pressure. You need a shock pump to build up pressure. Snap the kickstand into place and fully extend it. Then pump it to the PSI level indicated on the post (280-300 PSI). After that it will work. If you pump up to 300 with the rack lowered, it will not work, the rack must be fully extended.

Pros
  • Cycling
Cons
  • Some bugs
