My husband and I remember that our grandfathers wore slippers like this. A few years ago he asked for some for Christmas but I couldn't find any. About a year later I found them online but they were sold out and now I know why - seems like only one company makes them anymore! I pre-ordered last Christmas, the slippers arrived within a few days and were well packaged (the shoe box was inside the box) and the slippers were exactly as described. They are well made and very comfortable according to my husband, it helps that they come in a large width. I have to say that they were a bit tight (although not uncomfortable) the first few pairs of socks, but after a few days the skin fitted my husband's foot perfectly and he loves them very much.
