I dropped my phone down a drain yesterday. I forgot he was on my lap in the car and when I got up to get out he fell on the ground and down the drain. I panicked because not only was it my phone, but my phone case also contained my driver's license and debit card. I threw myself on the floor and stretched out my hand, but there was at least one leg between my fingertips and the phone. I tried to flatten myself to slip through, but alas! The rainwater channel was not wide enough for me. I found a hatch, but the lid was bolted. I knew it was pointless, but I kept trying to get the phone, cursing. There was the frame of an old sports ball (I can't remember which one) and I started thinking that this might be the fate of my phone. Then my partner asked if we had a cassette in the car. I happen to have a small roll of Gorilla Tape in my glove box because I drive a cheap car and the window seal started to melt, so I sealed the edges with tape. The thin Gorilla Tape actually works like a charm, keeping my windows from letting in too much air and resisting the wind while driving without being too noticeable, but that's another story. We found a good sized stick and wrapped the end with Gorilla Tape, sticky side out, and then let the tail hang down a bit. I went back to the drain and started poking around on the phone with the end of the tape. Within a minute the tape was strong enough to pull my phone out. I was so relieved that thanks to my lucky star and you, Gorilla Tape, I fell on my back and just lay on the street for a while. you saved my phone Thank you for such a reliable and great product!
