This skirt is very pretty and I love how it flutters and stretches as you walk/twirl. However, this is my THIRD time buying this to try to determine the correct size. I encourage all potential buyers to read the size chart as it explains that "Medium" is for someone with a 29 inch waist. Waist and strap size vary but I'm 5ft 5in and I found it had to sit on my chest to get the right length. Was large for a 30 inch waist. I am now buying a very large one. The skirt is zippered and has no elasticity. Not bad, just keep that in mind. Now I'm pregnant too but I won't be until 16 weeks when the event comes to wear this skirt and I got to try on the first (middle) one at 12 weeks and barely showed up. It has a high waist so I expected it to be well above the slight curve it currently has, but it almost hits the chest before reaching the expected length. Here are a few comments I'd like to offer that will hopefully help other buyers: • The size is MUCH larger. Do not be shy. If you are medium size, take XL. If you usually wear size XL and don't have a small waist, skip the purchase. • Remember that it has ZERO elasticity and a zipper. • The material feels nicer than the discount store, but definitely a cheap synthetic mix. However, it only looks good visually. • Length varies by size. My medium was lovely long, my large was short (uncomfortable ankle length) and I don't know what XL is yet, but I have high hopes. • If you think this would be ideal for a growing bud I don't have high hopes for you but as I'm wearing it early in my pregnancy I'm okay with that caveat.
