Hinoki cutting board at the best price!

Hinoki cutting boards don't come cheap! But I found this 17x9 1 inch thick for 1/2 to 1/4 premium brands. Of course, the underside isn't perfectly sanded or even. but it is only a cutting board for vegetables and meat. Hinoki is a soft wood used for Japanese knives so the blade doesn't dull easily, not to mention other great qualities. The first 2 photo shows new, bare wood and the 3rd after 2-3 coats of mineral oil, which is important part of working in Korea that I trust a lot more than China! If you are not picky about "perfection" and want a quality cutting board with all the qualities of Hinoki but without the frills and high price that this is what you need. to you! Of course I could spend $100, but why? I'd rather spend my savings on high-quality Japanese steel!

Pros
  • CYPARIS WOOD: Our grooved Hinoki cutting board is made from Japanese cypress wood. A cypress cutting board is known to remove odors and more.
