Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Lisle 41970 Pitman Arm Puller - Heavy Duty Tool Specifically Designed for Ford Vehicles by Stephen Thomas

The tool you should have!

I originally bought this to replace the steering gear on a friend's '91 Jeep but ended up not needing to use it. I used it to loosen the upper and lower ball joints and tie rod ends - basically everything except the bipod arm! We've all banged a ball joint or tie rod end with a big fat hammer and caused all sorts of destruction. And when the hammer doesn't work, you build contraptions with bottle jacks and an even bigger hammer and just cause more destruction. And when that doesn't work, you do the unthinkable - grab a pickle fork. That's right, that ominous forked piece of steel that was mushrooming at one end because you ruthlessly pounded on it, and the deep nicks and marks on the forked end where it tore apart unimaginable steering components. Do yourself a favor and buy this. I used to be scared of ball joints and tie rods until I got this. A simple tool that tears these things apart with ease. Hit him with a bludgeon and things will get even easier. You will fall in love with this tool. They will put a gold chain on it and wear it around their necks. This is a well made tool by Lyle who makes good tools. It's a bit wider than some other similar tools I've seen for sale, but its dimensions didn't cause me any problems. Lubricate the threads with a little grease and this tool will serve you for many years. There are two types of mechanics in this world: those who will wield this tool and those who will wield this tool.
